Take art things,
leave art things.
I started little free art locker in July of 2025. I organized this project in order to make art accessible to everybody, especially children and young people. As a mother of two and someone who has been saved by art as a youth and throughout life, being able to practice art has been essential to my overall health. I believe in the power of art as both a healing and coping tool.
Art is also a powerful connector. Being able to trade art & art supplies with the community brings us closer together and helps us discover things about the local spaces that host the lockers. It is also a way to inspire new artists while supporting current ones. This project diverts art waste and saves resources in a time where trying a new medium is considered a luxury. Thank you to everyone we partner with and all our supporters in this community-driven art supply sharing project.
